I find it more and more important to capture the element of romance in a photoshoot. Whether it be a wedding, engagement shoot or simply a family lifestyle shoot; its essential to capture the correct moments!

It is surprising that not many people hold hands anymore, such a simple act of affection and yet, I think, we have just forgotten about it! I try to focus on this, to get a creative shot and for the customers to take away with them a photo that is simple, yet very inspiringly romantic.

Danni & Jay Wedding

Yay, finally I’m blogging a peek from Danni & Jay's AMAZING Cambridgeshire wedding! Sorry if I’m a bit over-excited, but I think you will agree when you sneak down the page... I am looking forward to showing the world some of the other photos.

And what a wedding it was! I find it impossible to think of anything that wasn't inspiringly beautiful – flowers, handmade touches, Danni’s wedding gown (Miss V Bridal), the impressive Cambridgeshire countryside, the incredible venue (Sibson Inn), the superb band (Vice Versa) and not forgetting the sensational cupcakes (Cupcake Envy). A big thank you to all the people in attendance (not forgetting Danni’s wonderful mum who had made the gorgeous wedding breakfast attire by the way!). The day was simply perfection.

Thank you Danni & Jay for being so welcoming and relaxed, and making us truly feel like a part of the family. With the bride a little camera shy and her daughter the complete opposite, its always pleasing to see the final results are just fantastic!  I hope these sneaky peaks will make you as excited about the final album, as much as we are!

Mansion House Engagement Shoot

As you may (or may not know) custardface photography offers FREE engagement shoots to all Brides and Grooms to be. What better way to take advantage of this offer than to head over to where you are getting married at and let us snap away for an hour or so.

This is exactly what, soon to be married, Dom and Chris opted for at the quite stunning Mansion House, Old Warden Park. At over 130 years old and located in 500 acres of magnificent parkland, this was quite simply the perfect setting for the engagement shoot. An hour just wasn’t enough – we’ll just have to wait until the big day to take more.

Sunset Bridal Shoot!

Custardface Photography are now offering post-wedding shoots as part of their growing list of services; after all, who wants to wear their dress only ONCE!!

Below are a handful of shots from a recent post-wedding shoot that were taken at a nearby location which created some lovely images for her to treasure...

This dress was simply fantastic to take photos of due to the great detail on the back, which provides fantastic images from all angles; the little rose collection is simply adorable. Snapping away with the sun setting in the background is just amazing and made the shoot even more memorable. The way the sun shines through hair and the dress, makes it just look stunning.
